Jane

Jane is retired from a 35 year career with BellSouth, as Assistant State Treasury Cashier. Three of her four brothers also chose a career with Bell, as well as a son. She now lives on a peaceful 3+ acres of land in Brentwood. Her real passion growing up was basketball. After a standout career as a prep star at Joelton High School, she turned down college scholarship offers so she could play with the only teams playing real competitive ball - AAU. She ended a run as 5-time AAU All-American when her team won the 1949 National Championship game in St. Joseph, Mo. and she was named Most Valuable Player. Constant knee injuries (plus marriage and kids) ended her career in basketball, but she was still fit enough to play 10 more years of competitive fast-pitch softball on the weekends. She now enjoys all sports on TV, especially golf.
